Booking a Session
Sessions are charged at £125 per session.
Session length is not fixed
but rather takes a "it takes as long as it takes" format.
However, sessions are usually between 30 minutes and 3 hours - with an average length of about 2 hours.
Clients are expected to phone in each week for progress reports and discussion of the assignments that they have been set. Should a second session be required, this is discussed after week 2-4 follow up. There currently is no additional charge for the telephone follow-up and coaching.

NHS/GP Referral Process
You will need to talk to your GP to find out if funding is available for referral.
A session fee is £125.00 – a contribution toward which may be made by your local Primary Care Trust (PCT). I require the client to make a contribution of no less than £25.00.
So, for example, if the PCT is able to pay £45, the client makes up the other £80. If the PCT is able to pay £100.00, the client still pays the £25 and the fee to the PCT is £100 as the client has made up the difference. The total is never more than £125.00
Your GP or practice manager will be able to advise you of the contribution the practice will be able to pay toward the session fee.
How it Works
The GP makes the referral and I then contact the client direct – usually within 5-10 days. You will be sent some forms to fill in and be requested to return these with the non-returnable deposit. At which point a suitable appointment date is arranged.
Most clients will see the therapist within 10-20 days of GP referral.
The invoice for the balance of payment is made direct to the GP.
At completion of treatment, a brief report is sent to the GP for inclusion in the medical file - this is a formality and actual personal details are not included in this.
NHS Provider code: 8GY84
Warning! Please be aware that this is little more than a billing code. You will see a very large number of websites belonging to therapists of all varieties claiming that they are "NHS Registered" and displaying a "Registration Number" as though in some way they are connected, employed and approved by the NHS. In the vast majority of cases these practitioners are engaging in a [possibly accidental] act of deception and the number they display is little more than the NHS billing code.
